The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra remains one of the most sought after flagship phones in Tanzania, and for good reason. It pairs a titanium body with a 200MP camera, a built in S Pen, and enough power to handle anything from mobile gaming to editing on the move. If you are planning to buy one, this guide covers the current Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra price in Tanzania, its full specifications, where to buy it, and how to get the most out of it on the Yas Tanzania network.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Price in Tanzania

The Galaxy S24 Ultra launched in early 2024 at a premium price, but it has come down significantly as newer models have arrived. In 2026, the 256GB model is widely available from local retailers at around TZS 2,200,000, down from a launch price near TZS 4,800,000. Larger storage options cost more.

Prices shift with stock, exchange rates, and whether the unit is new or open box, so treat these as a guide and confirm the final figure with the seller before you pay.

Display and Design

The 6.8 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen is bright, sharp, and smooth thanks to its 120Hz refresh rate, which makes scrolling and gaming feel fluid. Samsung wrapped the phone in a titanium frame with Gorilla Glass Victus 3, and the flat display is easier to protect than the curved screens of older models. The IP68 rating means it survives dust and brief immersion in water.

Performance and Battery

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip paired with 12GB of RAM handles heavy multitasking, high end games, and 8K video without strain. The 5000 mAh battery comfortably lasts a full day of mixed use, and 45W wired charging tops it up quickly when you are in a hurry.

Camera System

Photography is where the S24 Ultra earns its reputation. The 200MP main sensor captures huge detail, the dual telephoto setup covers both 3x and 5x optical zoom, and the ultrawide is useful for landscapes and group shots. Night photography is strong, and the phone records video up to 8K.

S Pen and Software

The built in S Pen sets the Ultra apart from other flagships. You can write notes, sign documents, and edit photos with precision. The phone ships with Samsung One UI on Android and receives years of software and security updates, so it stays current well into the future.

Where to Buy the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra in Tanzania

The S24 Ultra is sold through Samsung authorised dealers, major electronics retailers, and trusted online marketplaces in Tanzania. When buying, insist on a sealed unit with a valid warranty and check the IMEI to confirm the phone is genuine. Buying from a verified seller protects you against counterfeit units and grey imports that may not receive proper after sales support.

Getting the Best Value

Because the S24 Ultra is now a generation or two behind the newest Samsung flagships, it sits in a sweet spot: flagship performance at a much lower price than at launch. If you want top tier cameras and the S Pen without paying the latest release premium, it is one of the strongest value buys in Tanzania right now. Compare current offers from a few sellers, and watch for open box or certified refurbished units, which can save you more while still carrying a warranty.
